Enrollment for summer term starts - seniors will enroll tomorrow (Tuesday), juniors on Wednesday, sophomores on Thursday, and freshmen on Friday. Your exact enrollment time is in your Student Center.
Undergraduates interested in enrolling in a graduate level course should complete this form. Please note decisions will not be made until August.

Come join us for Day of the Badger, UW's day of giving! All donations from CS go to WES-CS.
Come by for a cookie, a CS laptop sticker, and take your photo with Bucky Badger! (Ok, a cutout of Bucky Badger, but it's life-size!)
No donation required - we won't even ask you (although now that you mention it, we are competing with other departments for the largest number of donors - if you want to donate, click here, but that's the last you'll hear about it!).

These upperclassmen have a variety of career experiences during their time at UW-Madison, including internships, jobs, student orgs, and more – find out what they’ve found most valuable and how they’ve found success.
All majors and years are welcome – if you’re interested in tech, data & analytics careers, this event is for you!

Scholarship: Dewitt Scholarship |
Each year, the CS Department awards multiple David DeWitt Scholarships to recognize academic excellence among undergraduate Computer Sciences Majors. Each award is worth $8000, and students must be continuing in the UW undergraduate CS program next year (not graduating or transferring away).
Eligibility to apply: Continuing students who
- will be enrolled next academic year, 2022-23
- are computer science majors
- have demonstrated academic excellence

Scholarship: MinneAnalytics |
The Departments of Statistics and Computer Sciences have been selected to award a $1,000 MinneAnalytics Scholarship to a student for the 2022-23 calendar year!
Eligibility to apply: Continuing students who
- will be enrolled next academic year, 2022-23
- are passionate about a career in analytics or data science (regardless of major) and
- have demonstrated a commitment to community engagement
Application process:
You will be asked to upload an unofficial transcript as a PDF, a CV or resume as a PDF; and answers to several short questions (in written, audio, video, or equivalent form)

Opportunity: Serve on CS DEI Committee |
The UW Computer Sciences Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee is seeking two undergraduate students to serve on the 2022-2023 committee and provide student insight and feedback on departmental diversity, equity and inclusion efforts.
The CS DEI Committee is comprised of CS faculty, staff, and students. The committee addresses departmental needs and gaps related to DEI; assesses and discusses current DEI activities and topics; and sets goals and key milestones for advancing representation and inclusion.
Students on the committee will be asked to attend the committee’s hour-long, bi-weekly meetings and serve as a student voice on DEI topics, providing key feedback and insights.

· 1-page or less response to the following question:
o What has influenced your thinking around diversity and inclusion and motivated you to get involved with the CS Diversity and Inclusion Committee as an advocate for change?
Students who apply should 1) be a CS major or graduate student and 2) be able to serve for the entirety of the 2022-2023 academic year.
The committee will review all applications and will evaluate students based on their 1) level of past involvement and/or experience with matters related to diversity, equity and inclusion, and 2) interest in joining the committee.
