Celebrating Our Apparel Partners

Every student deserves clothing that helps him or her feel confident. Children and youth who face the stress of parental job loss, family crisis, homelessness and poverty often do not have access to this basic necessity, making it difficult for them to succeed. That's why we want to take a moment to celebrate all of our incredibly generous Apparel Partners.

Thank you to our Apparel Partners for helping us maintain a great selection of quality items and send every student home with what they need to feel comfortable, confident and prepared to thrive!

Can you help? As Clothes To Kids prepares for another year of record growth, we are looking to increase our number of Apparel Partners. Product donations and deep discounts on merchandise allow us to stretch our limited dollars further and prevent good quality customer returns, over-stock and unsold items from going to waste.

From A Happy Shopper's Parent:
**Hours Reminder**

We are accepting clothing donations on Thursdays (new day!), Fridays and Saturdays between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. To donate, gather your clean and ready-to-wear items. Check our updated Clothing & Shoe Donation page for ideas.
Please sort items by category (girls, boys, young women, young men, shoes and extras) to save time at drop-off. Empty your donations into one of our rolling bins that will be located outside of our door, and take your bags with you to reuse.
Sharing the Love

Unloading a delivery of 16,000+ pairs of underwear is no small task. It takes an awesome driver, some amazing staff members and a team of dedicated volunteers to get the job done! We are so excited to help our shoppers with new underwear and wardrobes for the start of the school year!

Check out this incredible donation of 26 pairs of brand new athletic shoes from The Lakes Running Company! This donation is extra special because it was shipped all the way from Minnesota by our dear friend and former CTKD board member Kara Cassidy. Thank you for going the extra mile for our students!

Our friend Margaret Nowakowski just dropped off these 100 handmade hats. During these last hot days of summer, it's easy to forget that our shoppers will need warm clothing in just a few short months. Thank you for helping keep our shoppers cozy!

Our wonderful sponsor and community partner United Airlines dropped in last week shortly before the Blue Jean Bash with some new backpacks and clothing donations. Thank you for helping our shoppers head back to school in style!

Liberty Media just finished their annual back-to-school drive, and it was a HUGE success! They collected 100+ pairs of new shoes and 700+ pairs of new socks & undies, plus a whopping $3,600+ in gifts that will be doubled by Liberty’s generous matching program. Thank you for boosting our inventory and helping so many of our students put their best foot forward!

Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in Denver collected a huge bin full of new school supplies and backpacks from their congregation. The items started going home with shoppers before we could get them inside! Special thanks to Ann for delivering these great supplies.

Last month, we had a lovely visit from one of CTKD's founders, Mary Overington. She dropped off her purchase of 150 pairs of pants - always a hot item during our back to school rush! Mary also stayed to volunteer for the day. Thank you, Mary!

These wonderful employees from Denver Human Services dropped off a whole carload of backpacks stuffed with school supplies. Thank you for helping our shoppers get ready to head back to school.

We have an awesome new donor who loves to shop…and wow does he deliver! For the past four weeks in a row, we have received multiple boxes of brand new donations from him. Our shoppers are blown away!

Members of this awesome team from Old Navy have become our partners in bargain hunting. They alert us to hot deals and clearance items and even help carry all of our purchases out to the car. They are a huge help to us and our shoppers!
