MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
Happy New Year Everyone. I once worked with a guy that climbed to the peak of Mount Everest. I didn’t ask him why, I was just so impressed with his goal and its accomplishment. As we enter the new year, we are inundated with messages to set goals, and to accept our defeat if we don’t make them, BUT I like setting goals and I like to have that in front of me. This gentleman had this goal and he was not going to accept anything except to reach the highest peak in the world. One of our PTSA goals is to reach 100% membership. We would like you to join us in working to accomplish this goal over the next two months. Together we create a wonderful community of IS parents, teachers, and students. He became part of a community of fellow climbers that reached the ultimate peak. Let’s work together to attain a similar peak of membership.
Thank you,

A NIGHT OUT FOR IS PARENTS AND SUPPORTERS!
Saturday, February 4, 6–10 PM
Embassy Suites, 3225 158th Ave SE, Bellevue
Join the fun(draiser) party! Tickets include wine and a plated meal. Connect with other IS parents and have a great evening while supporting our school, students, and teachers. Our crack fundraising team has been hard at work procuring a great catalog of experiences, trips, and stuff. Some items will be exclusive to the auction night, you can bid on some items during our online silent auction.
We are planning for up to 200 parents to join us! Invite a friend, or many friends, to create your own table for a night out (no dishes or cooking required!), or let us seat you with others who are in your child’s grade or shared activities.
Act soon, tickets are $60 per person until January 13, then prices rise to $75.
