At their annual Fête de Noël Luncheon, held Monday, December 2, the Ladies Leukemia League awarded Tulane Cancer Center Researchers Matthew Burow, PhD; Zhen Lin, MD, PhD; and Wu-Min Deng, PhD, with the second installment of their $35,000 research grants awarded earlier this year. Action for Women's Health - A Global Open Call

The EmpowerUS Gulf South Women's Health Symposium hosted by Tulane University, the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the University of Alabama System, and LSUHSC New Orleans will be held December 12-13 in Tidewater. CCTS Partner Network: Postdoctoral Dissemination and Implementation Research Program (T Award)

LCRC Now Accepting Applications For SUCRE Summer Research Program
College undergraduates interested in a career in biomedical research are urged to apply for the Louisiana Cancer Research Center's 8-week Summer Undergraduate Cancer Research Experience (SUCRE). Students will be mentored by faculty at Tulane University/Tulane Cancer Center, Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - New Orleans, and Xavier University of Louisiana.

The Tulane Research, Innovation and Creativity Summit (TRICS) -- an innovation showcase that features research and achievements from disciplines, departments, units and schools across Tulane -- is accepting abstracts for 2025. The event will take place April 8-10, 2025, and the submission deadline for abstracts is Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Trainee Membership in the Tulane Cancer Center
Tulane graduate students, medical students, postdocs, medical school-affiliated residents or fellows, and some undergraduates who are engaged in cancer-focused research can now apply to become Trainee Members of the Tulane Cancer Center.
Trainee Member applicants must be sponsored by a current Tulane Cancer Center Member and, once their membership is approved, will benefit through association with Tulane Cancer Center Research Programs and Disease-Oriented Teams, as well as access to shared resources for cancer-focused projects and invitations to scientific retreats, seminars and special events.
