Keep the Preserve Pristine Event & More!

Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) invites all residents to celebrate spring and participate in its 2nd Annual Keep the Preserve Pristine Cleanup (Rain or Shine) on Saturday, March 26th from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The cleanup starts at the LIRR parking lot located at 510 Park Side Blvd, Massapequa. The last walk-through will begin at 11:00 a.m.

Residents can join MTAC and its partners, the New York National Guard Counterdrug Task Force and the Nassau County Police Department and work together to help keep the Massapequa Preserve a safe environment for our community . National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week
Massapequa High School Chiefs Challenge and SADD Club will create posters highlighting facts and dangers about underage drinking and substance use. During National Drug and Alcohol Facts Week® and year round, teens can test their knowledge about drugs, alcohol, and drug use by taking the interactive National Drug and Alcohol IQ Challenge quiz

National Drug & Alcohol Facts Week is an annual national observance, March 21-27, 2022, launched by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Massapequa Takes Action Coalition (MTAC) will utilize Facebook and Instagram to provide facts to parents regarding underage drinking and drug use.

A series of weekly virtual classes being held every Thursday from March 24th until April 14th from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
