Preparing for Fall....
It's hard to believe that summer is coming to a end and fall will soon be approaching. Summer officially ends on the 22nd of September and the leaves will start to fall. Autumn does come with challenges because one of the biggest difficulties for seniors is yard work. There are many things to think about with yard work and preparing the yard and house for the upcoming fall and winter. See the checklist below on things to do before fall and winter begins.

We have also included in this newsletter some important tips from Cathy Wicks and her blog 'Senior Solutions Part 2 - Preparing Your Home For Sale.

We've been hiring for the various positions but are still looking for additional Installation and Service Technicians. We still have position's open, so please reach out if you are interested.

If you are out, please stop in or call us at 401-293-0415 for an appointment to tour our recently expanded and updated showroom. The Accessibility Living Suite is open so please come in for a tour. We can show you the many various ways to keep you and your loved ones safe in their homes. We have recently completed a virtual video tour that is now available on our website.

SENIOR SOLUTIONS PART 2 :
PREPARING YOUR HOME FOR SALE

Once you decide to sell your home, getting it ready to list can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months. I have counseled sellers for even a year or two before they’ve committed to moving. We meet every few months, review the market and keep a game plan going until they are ready. Sometimes independent living facilities have waiting lists and this directs our timeline. We use this time to sort and pack and perhaps sell items that are no longer needed. Some home sales are straightforward while others are more complicated. Remember that everything has a solution, and we can find it together.
