Insurance Cards
Medical Insurance cards were mailed on September 21st. Watch for a plain white envelope with our card inside. If you did not make changes to your medical plan or newly enroll, you will not receive a new card.
Dental & Vision - There are no cards for dental or vision. Let your provider know it's MetLife through Joplin Schools, and they'll check your benefits online.

MetLife Dental - Annual Maximum Benefit
As a reminder, our dental plan year is based on a calendar year. Your Annual Maximum Benefit starts over January 1. If you changed plans during Open Enrollment, then on October 1, you will have the new plan design but only the difference in the Annual Maximum Benefit through December 31.
Example: Newly enrolled in the Buy-up Plan with an Annual Benefit of $1,500, but used the full $500 annual benefit on the Base Plan. You will only have $1,000 to use between October 1 and December 31 ($1,500 - $500). On January 1, the new plan year starts and you will have an additional $1,500 Annual Maximum Benefit.
