LJHOA Seeking Board of Directors Candidates
Dear Member:
If you enjoy living at Lake Jeanette, the lifestyle, the beauty of the lake and the many natural areas and walking trails and would like to contribute to the future of our community please consider running for a position on the five-member Lake Jeanette Association, Inc (Master HOA) Board of Directors. There are two (2) Board of Directors terms expiring in 2021 and up for election/reelection, each serving a two (2) year term.
Our Lake Jeanette community is comprised of 1,165 member lots in 16 Villages, with an estimated over 3,000 residents. We live in 931 non lake view lots and 234 lake view lots. The Association has assets of $4.5 million. Lake Jeanette is a diverse and multigenerational community, and we are seeking to maintain a Board that reflects our diversity.
Being a Board member is a responsible and rewarding position that ensures that LJHOA is financially, environmentally, aesthetically and operationally sound and that the quality of life we enjoy as homeowners in our wonderful community continues into the future. Serving on the Board requires a commitment to attend 4-5 scheduled meetings plus the occasional ad-hoc meeting when certain matters arise that require Board approval. The nominating committee will review all submissions and conduct a brief phone or Zoom interview prior to finalizing the candidate list to be voted on by the membership at the 2021 Annual Meeting in December.
