Chili Cook-Off

Dig out your tried and true best chili recipe, prepare a crockpot full and bring it on Feb. 5 for the first annual chili cook-off and tasting! True to our values, ALL chilis are welcome! There will be a $15 entry fee to put your chili into the competition but if you win - you get it back! Plus you get your name and picture proudly displayed. Tasting is free and tasters will have the opportunity to cast their votes for their favorite chili. There will be a free will basket/bowl for donations to the church. Let us know if you think you've got a winner chili and plan to enter by adding comments. You supply your own crockpot of chili, we'll have cups, spoons and toppings ready.

Yoga

Robbinsdale Community Education is offering a variety of yoga classes at RPUCC on Thursday evenings. Learn more about the classes!

Covenant Days - Minnesota UCC Conference

Feb. 4

Covenant Days are a time to gather together and be the church! Our gathering on Feb. 4 will include workshops, worship, food and fellowship – a time for members, lay leaders, and clergy of local congregations to connect with one another and Conference staff.

Lenten soup

During the lenten season, we will gather together on Wednesday nights for soup, reflection and community. The first night will be Feb. 26! More information will come soon.

Sign up for Coffee Hour

We need your help! We love to build community, and one of the ways we do so is by having coffee hour. Please sign up to help make coffee, provide treats, and assist with set up and clean up. For more information, contact Kathy Jo at kjogaus@msn.com.

Winter Food Drive

For the winter, all donations are welcome. The most needed items for our food shelf partners at North- Point and PRISM are:

• soups
• peanut butter
• jam or jelly
• diapers

All items must be in their original packing, unopened, and not past their “use by” or “best by” dates. We cannot accept items that need refrigeration or are frozen. Place items in the grocery carts outside the church office. Thank you for your continued support!

January loose change offering

Our Loose Change Offering will support Simpson Housing. whose mission is to serve people experiencing homelessness find housing, support and shelter. Coins in the offering plates and all donations in the designated bucket help support this organization.
