Thank You From The Vestry
Thank you to everyone who participated in the January 8th conversation about Trinity’s finances and all who have been such joyful givers to Trinity’s ministries. At the January 17th meeting, the Vestry began putting together an action plan based in large part on things shared by you in the conversation.
If you were unable to attend, the recording of the conversation can be found here

Sunday January 29, Sermon and Forum Topic:
Discovering our historic complicity in racism in our parish and community.
In 2020 the ECCT Convention resolved that every parish “take steps to discover and document historic complicity in racism in their parish and communities”.
On Sunday, January 29th, Heather Kramer will present discoveries arising from this Resolution during the sermon. During the Adult Forum that same Sunday we will meet to share questions, voice experiences and emotions arising from the report, as well as to capture what we believe as a community of faith are the appropriate next steps. Heather and Linda MacGougan will also display key photos and documents that informed our report. Please come and learn about both the history of racial injustice in the community of Hartford as well as the complex history of our own parish.
Please join us in person or online for the sermon, the forum will be held in person only.

Outreach Ministries Gathering - January 31
This is an invitation to anyone interested in outreach ministries to meet in the church library on Tuesday, January 31 at 7:00 PM.
Trinity's Outreach Ministry supports many organizations with whom we have relationships - some as close as here in Hartford, others around the world. Ideas for new opportunities to share God's love in this way are encouraged and welcomed.
Please come for an update on what we are doing, and to share what types of new ministries you are interested in pursuing - how we put our faith into action through outreach ministries.
