Prayer Initiatives 2023

July

We are asking you, Legacy Church, to join us in prayer all year long. Each month throughout 2023, we will focus on specific prayer initiatives for our church to pray over, together. In July, our prayer focus is on multiplication.

Pray for Multiplication

Pray that the Lord would entrust Legacy with more people who are in need of Him
Pray for Legacy Church's readiness to receive and disciple people from all walks of life
Pray for retention
Pray that we become a sending Church, planting churches locally and globally

UTD Big Howdy Training at Legacy

The Baptist Student Ministry's (BSM) UTD Big Howdy efforts welcome thousands of international students arriving on campus from mid-July to mid-August!

Big Howdy Airport Pick Ups are from July 21st to August 18th. BSM anticipates needing 100-150 volunteers to help with 1,000-plus airport pick ups.

All volunteers must attend one training session. There are two sessions remaining, one at Legacy Church.

Tuesday, July 11th, 7-8 pm, Legacy Church Plano
Sunday, July 16th, 8:30-9:30 am, Restoration Anglican Church

Adult Baptism Class - July 16th

If you want to know more about Baptism and what it means to follow Jesus in Baptism, join Pastor Patrick for our next Adult Baptism Class, Sunday, July 16th in the Conference Room at 9 am, before church service.

Celebrate the Wins

Thanks to your faithful giving to the General Fund, in addition to Legacy's monthly giving to our mission partners, we celebrate:

Heavenly Bridge - $8,000 for upcoming pastor's conference and creation of a dental exam room
School Staff Appreciation - $360 for breakfast tacos for Schimelpfenig Middle School teachers and staff
