BCF Celebrates Summer with Fund Advisors
At the end of last month, we were thrilled to share the company of BCF Fund Advisors and celebrate all of their contributions to the community. Their incredible generosity is what makes BCF's work possible, and their support of our nonprofit community across all sectors is truly something to be thankful for. In the words of Jeanne Goussev, a BCF Fund Advisor, "It’s the fun part. I love being engaged with everything I care about. Giving back to the community creates happiness, and it’s so wonderful to be a part of something bigger than regular everyday life. Our Donor Advised Fund is empowering, and it feels good."

The survey should take about 15-20 minutes, and KCR is offering folks a chance to win a $50 gas gift card by opting in with their name/email or phone number. These identifiers will not be connected to their responses. BCF encourages everyone to participate, and tell your friends throughout Kitsap County!
August is Make a Will Month
August is national Make a Will Month! It's never too early to start planning your legacy. A 2017 survey from Caring.com found that only 4 in 10 American adults have a will or living trust. When broken down by age, a whopping 78 percent of millennials (ages 18-36) and 64 percent of Generation Xers (ages 37-52) do not have a will.

Those who created their wills and participated in legacy giving were generous. Of the $485 billion given to charity by Americans in 2021, according to Giving USA, 9.5% of that giving came from bequests. That’s $46 billion, which is a lot of money focused on supporting nonprofit organizations. Become part of the movement! Contact us today to learn more about Legacy Giving at [email protected].
