KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Economist and Futurist Kiernan “KC” Conway, CCIM, CRE, MAI is the mind trust behind Red Shoe Economics, LLC, an independent economic forecasting and consulting firm furthering KC’s mission as The Red Shoe Economist by providing organic research initiatives, reporting and insights on the impact of Economics within the commercial real estate industry. A proud graduate of Emory University with more than 30 years’ experience as a lender, credit officer, appraiser, instructor, and economist; KC is recognized for accurately forecasting real estate trends and ever-changing influences on markets all across the United States. FIRESIDE CHAT PANELISTS
Charlene led TPA in its first five years to serve dozens of Texas PACE programs and facilitate millions in new property investment. At Keeping PACE in Texas, Charlene led the effort to establish the Texas PACE Act and to create the TX-PACE in a Box model program. In the US Congress, Charlene served as general counsel to Republican Leadership and for several Committees. As VP and Washington counsel for Capital Cities ABC, Inc. Josh leads Transwestern’s Energy & Sustainability efforts, supporting national operations for all clients. He is spearheading projects from energy and water efficiency to enhancing asset valuation through cost-effective and environmentally conscious investment. Previously, he developed and managed the sustainability program for First Potomac Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT in the Washington, D.C. metro, where an emphasis on resource efficiency and tenant health and productivity within the commercial office market. As leader of Marmon Mok’s interior architecture practice, Mary’s expertise encompasses new construction, renovation, and adaptive re-use. With more than 25 years of experience, she has designed over 3 million square feet of interior space for all types of organizations. A Texas registered architect and interior designer, she serves as a specialized project manager on high profile projects including One Frost, Tobin Center for the Performing Arts and Henry B.
