THE TORCH: News & Updates

July 28 | 2022

Sorry for the Absence!

Your editor apologizes for the long time between TORCH Issues! The fact that some folks even mentioned the lack of communiques was kindly touching but perhaps only increased my guilt! The long grass that sprung up after recent rains reminded me of the very long time between writings.

A promise is to try to be more frequent AND not try to put months worth of updates into one super-lengthy newsletter; TO WIT, please read below for updates on:

  • An open event about Afghanistan and its history and culture on Saturday, July 30 at the main St Joseph County Library (see the first notice below);
  • URC Annual Meeting on Aug 23 virtually
  • Events, virtual and in person, from our partners at the Ansari Institute and Religions for Peace USA
  • The annual CROP Walk on Septmeber 25
  • ....and more!

Your (presumed patience) has been appreciated. For those of you who did not suffer from the lack of one more newsletter in your inbox, well sorry for this!
