Why did you join GECP?
Growing up, my family couldn't afford to travel, so I always felt like I was lacking in cultural knowledge and experiences. I joined GECP so I could gain these experiences in college and have the opportunity to learn about various cultures and engage with individuals with different cultural backgrounds than my own.
Tell us about a powerful Global Experience you've had while at MSU:
Volunteering this year at the Refugee Development Center (RDC) has been very powerful. I'm able to engage with individuals from all over the world, speaking many languages and practicing many cultural traditions. I've helped with teaching RDC students English, but they have taught me much more than I could ever teach them.
If you weren't planning to be a teacher, what job would you choose?
Probably interior designer or an interior decorator.
What are your hobbies?
Reading, running, and baking.
What is your favorite book?
Untamed, by Glennon Doyle

Missing a water bottle? Two very nice water bottles were found at the Oct 7 GECP welcome event. Terry Yuncker in the TE department (room 313) is holding onto them. You can pick them up any weekday 7am-4pm.
