Instructed by two season industry professionals:

Bob Wise has turned his three decades in the hearth, chimney, HVAC, plumbing, and gas-fired appliances career into a 3-day intense training for our industry. Early in his career, he worked for SoCal Gas then FMI, Desa & Monessen where he was National Training director. He owned his own retail and installation company and has taught classes at every HPBExpo since 1999. Bob is a founding board member of the National Fireplace Institute (NFI).

Russ Wold spent most of his life in the hearth industry. He has been a retail store owner, an independent rep, a factory rep, an installer, serviceman, and a consultant in our industry. He began his career in the industry in 1978 and was a field rep for The Earth Stove for 5 years followed by a 6-year stint as a retail store owner. He then worked as an independent rep until he became a factory rep for Hearth and Home Technologies for a combined 16 years. He has served 7 years on the HPBA Pacific affiliate board.
