As Puesta del Sol community members ourselves, we know the information can be overwhelming, so we wanted to first provide some resources as we start school.

School start date and times, logging into ParentVue, Bus Route information, school lunches, as well as links to school calendars. IMPORTANT NOTE: BSD Nutrition will resume charging fees for student meals for 2022-2023. Applications for Free and Reduced-Price Meals will be available mid-August.

School Supplies for 2022-2023

School supplies!

Yes, you may have noticed the list is shorter this year, and that is intentional. Here is the 2022-2023 Puesta del Sol School Suggested Supply List.

Bellevue School District has worked hard on a plan to provide the instructional materials (e.g. textbooks, workbooks, paper, pencils, crayons, etc.) necessary for all student's academic success, and you’ll see this across schools in the school district.

There may be a few asks for individual classes which families will learn about after students get their class assignments.

If you are shopping at Amazon.com, remember to sign up for AmazonSmile and designate Puesta del Sol Elementary/Sunset Elementary PTA Bellevue Council 2 3 95. It costs you nothing and gets money donated to our PTA with each purchase!

Class Assignments

Students entering grades 1-5 will be notified of their teacher assignment during the late afternoon of Monday, August 29th or Tuesday, August 30th via email.

The start of the year is a great time to browse through roles available on our PTA Board and various committees. Check out our Board and Committees page.

Descriptions are available by clicking the name of the role and/or e-mailing the board member/director listed. To view descriptions, you may need to set up your PTA website log in first. If you haven’t already done so, go to the Create New PTA Website Account page. Once you are logged in, you can find out more and even sign up!

Jubilee Service Day is Back!!!

Jubilee Service Day is back! Please join us on Saturday 8/27/2022 from 8am to 12pm at Puesta Del Sol. This is an opportunity to volunteer to help teachers/staff get their classrooms ready for the 2022-2023 school year.

Tears & Cheers Coffee Social

Please join us for Puesta del Sol PTA's "TEARS & CHEERS COFFEE SOCIAL" on the 1st day of school.

Join fellow families under the covered area after classes officially begin to meet, share summer stories, reunite and build community, and learn about joining Puesta del Sol PTA! Coffee, tea, and bites will be served.
