Miami Recovery Project
Congratulations to one of our providers, Miami Recovery Project, which received a proclamation from Mayor Danielle Levine Cava to recognize Overdose Awareness Day and National Recovery Month.
Gang Alternative Robotics Team
Takes Home the Gold
Congratulations to the Robotics Team at Gang Alternative, who recently took home the Gold at a competition.

From Gang Alternative:

Gang Alternative, Inc. brought a little bit of the Tokyo Olympics to Miami this year. We wrapped up the summer with an amazing event for the Robotics and Life Skills Camp on July 30th. The 2021 Robotics Olympics was a skill-based competition using Vex robots, where our Redland, Broward, and North Miami campers each competed for a gold medal.

The camp turned out to be an amazing success for it being its first year in motion and was a life-changing experience for middle schoolers all across South Florida. The Redlands Robotics & Life Skills Camp was generously funded under the Safe Summer initiative by the Commissioner for District 8. We look forward to seeing these bright future STEM leaders next year!
