Bishop Hughes serves as co-consecrator for new Bishop of Pittsburgh
On Saturday, November 13, Bishop Hughes served as co-consecrator for the Rt. Rev. Dr. Ketlan Solak, IX Bishop of Pittsburgh. Bishop Hughes and Bishop Solak attended Virginia Theological seminary together, and like Bishop Hughes, Bishop Solak is the first woman and first person of color to be elected bishop in her diocese. With her consecration, there are now six Black women serving as diocesan bishops in The Episcopal Church.

Young Adult Retreat

Wednesdays Away Retreats
Cross Roads is now be offering the Wednesdays Away day retreat on two dates each month. The first Wednesday of the month will be an in-person retreat at Cross Roads, from 10 AM to 3 PM. On the second Wednesday of the month, they will host the same great retreat but on Zoom, from 10 AM - 12 noon. Geeking Out With CPG’s Compensation Report

Church Pension Group has issued its annual survey of clergy compensation, in an updated version of the interactive tool it introduced last year. The survey has added data on race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation, all part of CPG’s effort to fulfill compensation-related resolutions from the 2018 General Convention.
