As you are all aware, there has been a flurry of communication regarding the Presidential Executive Orders, the freezing of federal funds, the impact of these actions, and the ultimate recission of the initial OMB Memo. As a provider agency and community organization, we have a strong commitment to our participants, families, caregivers and supporters to assure you we are keeping abreast of any and all information pertinent to our operations. FRIENDS is part of several networks at the national, state and local levels that provide us first hand knowledge on any legislative changes affecting our industry.

We remain focused on our day to day work providing quality services, as well as securing necessary funding and resources. We continue to watch our expenditures and strive to operate as efficiently as possible. We believe Medicaid resources will be preserved, but realize the current landscape related to funding for a variety of human services is unknown. We promise to keep you informed of any significant news and encourage you to reach out with any concerns or questions you may have.
