Monrovia Scout Troop Honors Four New Eagle Scouts
Four scouts from Monrovia Boy Scout Troop 66 have earned Eagle rank: Tyler Ford, Nicholas Milazzo, Luca Ammon and Scott Reynolds. Scoutmaster Mark D. Peters reports the ceremony was held aboard the SS Lane Victory, a museum ship in the San Pedro harbor that served as a cargo ship during World War II, the Korean War and Vietnam. Read More
Troop 173 Helps to Clean the Beach at the Cabrillo
Brian Shin, Scoutmaster of Troop 173 approached Pamela Craft the Director at the Cabrillo Beach Youth Center about his Scouts and parents spending a day at Cabrillo on October 2nd. The beach front was covered with eel grass and trash. They spent the entire day on the beach front only stopping for lunch. Cabrillo wants to thank T173 for spending the day. You can still see the difference on the waterfront.

El Camino Real District - Distinguished Citizens Award of the Year

2021 Law Merit Badge Day
(December 11, 2021 at Cabrillo)
Law Day is a unique experience that allows Scouts interested in legal careers to complete Scouting's Law Merit Badge requirements. This provides Scouts with an understanding of law, legal history, and the opportunity to participate in a mock trial.

Eagle Scouts Can Apply for NESA Scholarships Soon
Earning the Eagle Scout rank is an impressive achievement that provides lasting impacts on one’s life. One of those impacts can be financial support for higher education. Beginning December 1, the National Eagle Scout Association will be accepting applications for five annual scholarships of varying amounts.
