NUSD to offer sports physicals, immunizations and more at Health Fair
Help us spread the word

With the summer winding down, we would like to remind parents that children must be up-to-date on immunizations before starting school. To ensure your student starts the 2021-2022 school year off right, we are hosting a Health Fair from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021. The Health Fair will offer sports physicals, kindergarten and 1st grade physicals, immunizations, tuberculosis shots, COVID testing and vaccines (1st dose only), and vision and hearing screenings. This event is free and open to all district students, families and staff. For more information or to schedule an appointment on the 31st, click here.

Larry G. Meeks Academy provides families with a new, innovative option for online learning. Similar to last year's distance learning model in our District, Larry G. Meeks Academy offers both synchronous and asynchronous learning. This option allows students to engage in a learning process similar to an in-person daily schedule but in a remote setting. For information about Larry G. Meeks Academy or to enroll online, click here. If you have additional questions, please contact Esther Perez at (916) 567-5608 or [email protected].
