2025 Workshop Registration Information

In this newsletter, we kick off our registration for the upcoming 2025 HMTRC Workshop happening Thursday April 3rd to Friday 4th with pre-meeting events happening April 2nd.


Please register early for priority hands-on placement (Early registration deadline January 17th, Final hands-on registration deadline February 12th). See below for more details regarding the workshop and how to register. To help you book your travel plans we’ve also included hotel recommendations below.

Start Planning: 2025 HMTRC Workshop

Hyperpolarized Carbon-13 MRI Technology Development Workshop: April 3-4th 2025, Pre-meeting Events April 2nd

Registration Deadlines:

Early Registration: January 17th

Hands-on Registration Deadline: February 12th

Those who register by January 17th will be given priority hands-on session placement. Final hands-on registrations are due by February 12th. This includes the workshop registration, poster submissions, and pre-meeting registrations.

External Registration (non-UC Personnel): HMTRC Workshop Registration Fee: Academic Participant $275, Industry Participant $775. Register Early, for priority hands-on placement (January 17th). Final hands-on registrations due February 12th. No registration at the door. Online registration for external members is available through Eventbrite. VISA, Mastercard, Discovercard and American Express are accepted. The HMTRC Workshop Registration Fee includes hands-on training/demo costs, and related MR scanner, DNP supplies, pharmacy and chemistry costs.

Pre-meeting Sign-ups (deadline February 12th): The pre-meeting events will take place on Wednesday April 2nd which will occur the day before the 2025 HMTRC workshop (on Thursday April 3rd and Friday April 4th). Please register (links above) for the workshop to attend the pre-meeting events. Registration deadline is February 12th. There is no additional fee to attend the Pre-Meeting events. Please see the pre-meeting schedule (below) for a list of events happening, participation, and what to bring.

Oral Presentation Abstracts

Deadline: December 16th, 2024

We invite abstract submissions focused on HP technology development (1 page or less) for oral presentations by academic and industry participants at the 2024 Hyperpolarized Carbon-13 MRI Technology Development Workshop. We will try to accommodate your talk, but if not, these submissions can be presented during our poster sessions. Please submit your abstract title and brief description by December 16th, 2024 by emailing hyperpolarizedmri@ucsf.edu.

Poster Presenters: Submit Title & Authors

Deadline: February 12th, 2025

We welcome poster presentations by any participants. To register your poster for the 2025 HMTRC workshop, please provide the title and author information through this link by February 12th 2025 if you would like it to be included in the printed materials. You must be able to print your poster prior to the event and bring it on site. We recommend having posters fit within a 36” x 48” size in a landscape orientation.
