Thanks to all who attended Eisfest and brought friends, family and food! We had a terrific day with sun in the sky and snow on the ground! Over $1,000 was raised to be split for donation to PanCAN and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in memory of the Steves, (Feilmeier & Jones) co-founders of Eisefest.

Club Operating Hours

  • Bar Hours: Mon & Tue 4-10pm, Wed & Thu 4-11pm, Fri & Sat 4pm-12am, closed Sun unless special event.
  • Food Service: Wed through Sat, 5-8:30 (1st Thu meeting night 5-7.)
  • Note: No dogs permitted on premises; all inside and outside areas.

Reservations

  • Touch Bistro Reservation Site
  • Reserve at least 3 hrs prior to requested time. Your table will be held for a half hour. Afterwards, no-shows will be forfeited.
  • Tables seat up to 8p. If your group is larger, create a 2nd reservation and note to be seated together or near each other.
  • Outside food is only permitted on days the Club is not serving food.

Note regarding Friday reservations - Due to the Groundhog Candelmas service 5:00-5:30pm in the Ballroom, dinner in that area will not begin until following the service. However, tables for dinner are available in the bar area during that time frame on a first come basis. Please plan on coming early for the Candlemas Service by Charlie Gross.

Burger Night

  • Mushroom Swiss - Burger on a Kaiser roll with sautéed mushrooms and Swiss cheese, served with side of fries $12
  • Rodeo Burger - Burger on a Kaiser roll with pepper jack cheese, BBQ sauce, and onion ring on top, served with side of fries $12
  • Notes: Burger with lettuce, tomato & onion on request. Onion rings may not be substituted for fries.

  • Knockwurst Sandwich - Knockwurst on a pretzel bun with sautéed peppers, spicy mustard, and a side of beer cheese $14

The Rathskeller

"Ratskeller" (Council's Cellar): A name in German speaking countries for a tavern or restaurant located in the basement of city hall the Rathaus.


We are excited to announce two new uses of our own Rathskeller!


Rathskeller Bar - Thur & Fri, Feb 6 & 7, 5-10pm:

  • The Rathskeller Bar will be open on the first Thur & Fri of each month, 5-10pm, during the months of February through May.
  • All Club members may enjoy offerings from the Rathskeller Bar which will include specialty beer features, imported wines, and a German inspired cocktail menu.
  • Stop in -- no reservations are required!


Rathskeller Bar School - Sat, Feb 8, 5pm: (sign-up required)

  • Bar School will be offered on the first Sat of each month, Feb-May, at 5pm.
  • Our first session on Feb 8 will focus on Schorles, one of the most widely recognized cocktails in Germany. This hands-on experience will guide you step by step through the process of making four Schorle variations to enjoy!
  • Reservations are Required for Bar School - Space is limited to 20 participants. The cost is $25/pp payable at the event. The fee includes all ingredients, tools, and instruction to become a Schorle mixologist!

"Feier des Grundsautag" Groundhog Celebration!

Come enjoy a lighthearted evening of Murmeltier fun!


The evening will begin at 5pm with a brief Candlemas Service by Charlie Gross in the Ballroom. Note: Dinner service will not begin in the ballroom until following Candlemas.


We will also enjoy the Kindergruppe dancers, Groundhog cookies, face-painting, instruction in the games of Schafkopf & Eisstock (if there is a game that you would like to play, please bring it), and of course, an early (pre-groundhog day) search for our own Liederkranz Ludwig.

In keeping with German culture, we celebrate with two traditional Lenten Calendar events at the Club, Fasching & Lumpenball. Please, come and have some fun with us!

Fasching Event for Children

Children will enjoy an evening learning about German Fasching as they make a fun Fasching hat and craft.



  • All ages welcome. No sign-up required.
  • Children will march in a "Fasching Parade" around the clubhouse
  • The event is free to children or grandchildren of the Club members.

  • No Charge - Entertainment events are for Club members and their invited guests at no charge. Donations will be accepted at the event to help cover entertainment expenses.

2025 Membership Renewals are in grace period until end of February


Three Ways to Renew:

  2. In Person at the Club
  3. Online with our JotForm by PayPal, Venmo, or credit card. PayPal will accept payment by credit card. PayPal charges a small fee.


Please Note:

  • Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope with mailed-in forms or $1 option online to receive your 2025 membership sticker by mail.
  • Please allow a week for our office to process your renewal before stopping in for your 2025 sticker.
  • Renewals must be completed by end of February. Beginning March 1, cards will be made inactive and a $35/pp late fee will be added.
  • Renewals not made by the end of calendar year 2025 will be dropped from membership. Afterwards, the membership process with fees, voting, and orientation will be required.

Accepting Nominations for Officer and Trustee positions for 2025/2026. Please submit your interest by the end of February.


If you are interested in running for an elected position, or learning more, please submit your name and desired position or question to info@lancasterliederkranz.com. Your email will be forwarded to the Nominating Committee.


  • Board of Trustees five to seven positions shall be elected to serve a term of one year each. Trustees shall be responsible for the care and upkeep of all Liederkranz property, and shall operate the Club’s facilities.


  • Officers shall consist of a President, Vice-President, Financial Secretary, Treasurer, and Recording Secretary. Note: The positions of Chorus President and Rotating Organizational Representative are appointed positions.

Do you have a bunch of Hummels stuck in a closet? The LLK Hummel Collectors Society has started a Member’s Spotlight Program where your collection and their backstory can see the light of day for all to enjoy in the Club’s trophy case display. Please Stop in to see our current collection spotlight from Sandy Emerich.


Your figures will be handled safely and with respect. They will be returned to you or, they can be adopted by loving members of the Club. For more information on displaying your Hummels, contact our Hummel organizer, Bernard Clarke.

Miss Lancaster Liederkranz

Applications are now being accepted for Miss Lancaster Liederkranz 2025/2026. Applications must be received by April 1.


Miss Lancaster Liedrkranz has been a tradition at our Club since 1990. She is an Ambassador representing our Club not only locally, but around the Mid-Atlantic area, from Washington DC and the greater Philadelphia area to New Jersey and Connecticut.

Reminder Regarding Access to the Deck in Winter Months

Access to the deck through the ballroom is limited to times when the ballroom is not in use for dining or events during cold-weather months defined as December through the end of March. For smoking, please use the designated area outside the front of the clubhouse when the ballroom is in use.

Daily Book & Pull Tab Reminders

  • The Daily Book may be signed only during Bar operating hours.
  • Member must be in the Clubhouse at the time of signature.
  • Winner does not need to be present at the time of drawing.
  • Only age 21 or older may operate the pull tab machine and play the games.
