National Membership Processing News
National FBLA is now open for the 2022-2023 FBLA year and is accepting new and returning FBLA members through the membership processing system.
Adviser login credentials have not changed since last year. Membership processing procedures have not changed since last year. You can access the membership system at this link: https://my.fbla-pbl.org/. If you need assistance with your login credentials, please reach out to Bruce Boncal at bboncal@pafbla.us.
You can access the Adviser QuickStart Guide by clicking this link. It serves as a step-by-step refresher to the process. Remember these essentials: (1) last year's returning students are already in the membership system and simply need to have their profile updated; (2) new students can be added easily; and (3) no student is officially a member UNTIL you have created "membership orders" for students. National FBLA is also asking you clean up your data and make your graduated members inactive. Refer to the email from National FBLA.
For all current year members, you need to know: (1) first name (don't use nicknames), (2) last name, (3) gender, (4) grade level, and (5) an email address (required) capable of receiving email from National FBLA and Pennsylvania FBLA. National FBLA and Pennsylvania FBLA strongly suggest that you enter a student's personal email address rather than a school email address. You are strongly encouraged to enter your members' chapter officer positions that they hold as important information will be made available to each group of officers.
New information regarding Business Achievement Awards and membership: Last year, students could not participate in the co-curricular Business Achievement Awards program until dues were paid. That left out a lot of students for an extended period of time. For 2022-2023 for any student for which a membership order has been created: students have access to and may immediately begin to work on the BAAs without dues being paid until October 20. After that, access to the BAAs will be restricted to those with dues marked "paid."
