Arizona Mission Offering: Touching Lives
September is when Arizona Southern Baptist churches receive the Arizona Mission Offering. Resources are available to help you tell about the offering, the ministries it supports and the people's lives who are touched. View this year's video and share it with your church. Find social media promotional content, a bulletin insert, worship slide, videos and stories about your Arizona Mission Offering gifts at work.

Christian Challenge Welcomes Students Back to Campus

When college students were leaving for their 2020 spring break, no one expected a pandemic that would close physical classrooms, resulting in a year and a half of quiet and empty campuses. Now, college students across the state are back on their campuses, and Christian Challenge missionaries and student leaders are working hard to meet them. This is a return to normal for missionaries and students after changes brought on by COVID-19.

Arizona Disaster Relief Volunteers Serve in Gila Bend, Louisiana

Arizona Southern Baptist Disaster Relief teams are bringing hope and comfort to flood and hurricane victims in Arizona and Louisiana. Twenty-three volunteers ministered to flood victims in Gila Bend August 17-26. Nineteen Arizona Disaster Relief volunteers are currently working or on their way to Houma, Louisiana. They are involved in flood recovery, chain saw, roof tarping and feeding. More volunteers will be needed to replace them.

Two Men From Arizona Appointed As Missionaries by IMB
More than 1,900 miles from home, two Arizona men discovered on an airport shuttle last spring they were headed to the same place. It wasn’t a coincidence. Levi Thomason* and Jeff Canter* were both going for seven weeks of training with the International Mission Board in Virginia. Thomason had just been appointed as an IMB missionary Journeyman. Canter, a veteran missionary who had been off the mission field for several years, was preparing to return to the same people group he had served previously but in a different part of the world.

Jeremiah & Joy Farmer*

When missionaries Jeremiah and Joy Farmer were forced to leave the East Asian country where they served, Jeremiah began to think about creative ways to work with local partners from a distance. One way was setting up trainings and meetings to equip and mobilize believers to make disciples.
Your support through the Cooperative Program allows missionaries like the Farmers to encourage and embolden local believers to share the Gospel in their respective countries, especially those where missionaries aren’t able to serve. Pray that partnerships between East Asian Christian leaders will deepen and that they will be willing to work together and be unified in their ministry strategies for the furtherance of the Gospel.
