Rolling, rolling, rolling. Paddle & rolling in fact!
Hi everyone,

Well we've been up and running now for several weeks and so far so good. Let's knock on wood. Students are returning and we are VERY happy to see so many old and NEW faces in class!

Our monthly Tap Jam has also been growing in attendance. Artist in Residence Jared Alexander is doing such a nice job hosting and this event is a great service to the field. (See the schedule below)

And check out the upcoming shows and performances of some of our other Artists In Residence including Felipe Galganni, DeWitt Fleming Jr. & Max Pollak. (See below)

If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions, feel free to email us at info@atdf.org. I'm all ears!

Meanwhile, see you in the funny papers,

Tony Waag

Our faculty brings decades of experience to the studio to create a supportive, fun, and rigorous environment for rhythm tap learning.

Year-Round Youth Program
Our youth program classes offer children and teens a chance to become immersed in tap culture. Classes focus on the fundamentals of rhythm tap, including clean technique, classic and contemporary tap repertory, and improvisation skills. Tap history, films, jazz music, and special guests deepen students’ appreciation of this great American art form. Our teachers bring decades of experience to the studio and create a warm, supportive and fun environment for learning.
The ATDF Youth Program is designed as a nine month program that runs from mid-September through mid-June. Each class builds cumulatively using a specific tap curriculum towards a performance at the end of the year. Please plan to make a full year commitment to your child’s tap class so that she/he has a satisfying learning experience.
