Driving the national workforce agenda and providing value-added member services
In honor of the 20th anniversary of September 11, 2001
As we head into tomorrow and commemorate the 20th anniversary of that dreadful day, I ask you to take a moment and reflect on all that happened. Remember those that lost their lives either on that day, or years after as an outcome of that day, from either being in the Twin Towers or first responders at ground zero in NYC, those at the Pentagon, or those on United Flight 93 in Shanksville, PA.

Scott B. Sanders
NASWA President & CEO
“September 11 impressed upon us that life is a precious gift…. We all have a duty to devote at least a small portion of our daily lives to ensuring that neither America nor the world ever forgets September 11.” — Bill Frist

“When Americans lend a hand to one another, nothing is impossible. We’re not about what happened on 9/11. We’re about what happened on 9/12.” — Jeff Parness

Additional project milestones and system documentation are available on the members' site at info.uisides.org.

We encourage all project team members to participate in the bi-weekly Zoom update calls at 2 p.m. ET on Wednesdays. For an invitation to the next call, email [email protected].

Interested in learning what virtual tools are being implemented across states? Did you know NASWA maintains an interactive database on virtual solutions currently in use by state agencies?

Currently, states indicate they have implemented a multitude of tools - anywhere from 1 - 20 technologies/tools - to assist them in virtual service delivery. Visit our Solutions Marketplace suite of tools to view which solutions operate in each state, and profiles of technologies, tools, vendors, and consultants available to assist you in your ongoing digital transformation.
