Dear Residents -

With the 20th Anniversary of September 11th behind us and the heartbreaking memories that were conjured up of that day, it is important for all of us to remember how, after that day Americans stood proudly together, displayed their American Flags, and vowed to not only survive the tragedy but to come back a better, stronger America. Let’s not forget the feeling of unity that we had in the days after 9/11 – and together let us strive to get back there.

The Town of Orangetown and Rockland County have been working with FEMA to get aid for our residents. FEMA has been checking out disaster sites in Orangetown and is still working on determining if Rockland residents will qualify. Please continue to check www.disasterassistance.gov. If Rockland qualifies, residents will be able to apply for individual assistance directly through FEMA.
