From the time I founded Exquisicare, my mission has always been to affect policy change and mindset towards the care of elderly. Simply put, I have ALWAYS believed that “it is NOT ok to institutionalize or warehouse our communities’ greatest treasures – our seniors”. I recognized that affecting change and public policy would take time.
Today, I am so delighted to share this report released by The National Institute of Ageing, Canada’s Leading Public Policy Think Tank on Ageing, titled “There’s No Place Like Home: Why Canada Must Prioritize Small Care Home Models in its Provision of Long-Term Care”.
