Hopscotch Saturday happens this Saturday, July 24.
(weather permitting - rain date July 31)
So pull out that sidewalk chalk we dropped off
(or stop by the BIA office this week if you need some more - we have lots) and get ready to
dust it up.
We'll promote the event this week, encouraging people to 'Walk Waterdown' to check out your colourful and interaction creations.
Consider:
- Drawing something with a little of your business' brand or style in the chalk art. Think about logos or hopscotch boxes that represent your products/services such as flowers, teeth, dresses, tools, etc.
- Adding arrows and messages leading participants to make a visit into your place of business (This way for a cool refreshment... Need a (item?) - we've got you covered.... Looking for a great gift idea? Hop on in.)
- Bringing a few toss rings, dice or other accessories for more than just hopping games (think about sanitization between participants and/or having a sanitization station nearby if you go this route).
- Adding a special Hop'Scotch' cocktail or buttetr'Scotch' treat to your menu for the day. (Tag us or send us your specials and we'll include them in promos for the day).
- Going vertical. Use a big blank wall as your canvas and create a 'photo op' display were people can put themselves in the picture and tag your business.
