Greetings, Summit Families!

It is finally time for school to begin and we are SO excited to see our students tomorrow!

It was great to see many of our parents at Parent Orientation last week. If you were unable to make it you can view the presentation slides here. As always feel free to contact us via phone or email if you have any questions.

Today's Meet the Teacher is an opportunity for students to say hello to homeroom teachers and drop off supplies. See the details below for your student's designated time slot.

COMING UP

Meet the Teacher - August 15

Students should arrive at the designated time listed below and report directly to their homeroom class to meet their teacher and drop off school supplies.

Grades K-3: 9:00-9:30
Grades 4-5: 10:00-10:30
Grades 6-12: 11:00-11:30

Any medications that will be given during the school day should also be dropped off at this time.

First Day of School - August 16

BASC Registration

LUNCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

We are in need of volunteers to help distribute lunch and monitor students during lunch periods on Mondays and Fridays from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. If you are available and would like to help, please let us know by replying to this email or call the front desk at 244-7090.

UNIFORMS

Please go over our uniform guidelines to ensure your student's school attire is in accordance with dress code. For high school students, see the High School Code of Conduct.

MOUNTAINTOP BREAKFAST

Planning is underway for our 19th annual Mountaintop Breakfast! This year's event will take place on Thursday, October 20 at 8:30 a.m. at Celebration Hall in Middletown. We are currently seeking Table Captains and sponsors for this important event. Contact David Payne for more information.

About the Breakfast

The Mountaintop Breakfast is a powerful and moving event where students and families share their stores with the community. The event raises awareness about Summit and the impact we have on students with learning differences.
