Our Parks, Our Places Open Houses
Learn more about the Parks, Recreation and Open Space master plan process and provide feedback at two open houses this month:

  • Tuesday, Sept. 20, 4 to 7 p.m., Central Recreation Center
  • Thursday, Sept. 22, 2 to 5:30 p.m., Moorhead Recreation Center

The open houses will include multiple stations covering topics such as public feedback so far, how Aurora’s park system compares to those of other cities, existing environmental conditions and overall access to the system. There will also be opportunities to give feedback both in person and virtually during the events.

Key information will be available in Amharic, English, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and Vietnamese with translators available as well. Childcare will be provided for children ages three and older. There will also be food trucks on site and food truck vouchers for participants.

Residents will also be able to share feedback through a new online survey launching on Tuesday, Sept. 20. Comments and questions can also be shared any time on the project website, EngageAurora.org/AuroraParks, or by email to PROSMasterPlan@AuroraGov.org.
