Wellness Wednesdays

The next 'Wellness Wednesdays' activity is Lawn Bowling on October 13 at Roxbury Park at 8am.  ‘Wellness Wednesdays’ aims to inspire the community to get outside and participate in free exercise and healthy lifestyle activities, enjoy wholesome foods from local businesses and incorporate wellness into their everyday lives.  Additional October classes coming. To stay informed about upcoming ‘Wellness Wednesdays’ events, visit beverlyhills.org/wellnesswednesdays.
Park Ranger Bike Patrol Program

The Beverly Hills Park Ranger Division is pleased to announce the launch of their Bike Patrol program. In September seven Park Rangers successfully completed a three-day bike patrol certification course that was conducted by the Beverly Hills Police Department. The Bike Patrol program allows the Park Rangers to cover more ground in less time, such as patrolling all 22 blocks of Beverly Gardens Park, patrolling Roxbury and La Cienega Parks during busy weekends, and for special events like the upcoming Beverly Hills Art Show. Park Rangers patrol all City parks 7 days a week in addition to all City facilities.
Friends of the Library Bookstore Sale!

Starting October 1st we will have new signed books for sale in the Friends Bookstore!!

New stock at the beginning of each month. Half-price on all art books in The Friends Bookstore, Sunday, October 10th till Sunday, October 17th.

Everything is available in the Library 10am -5pm.

Senior classes return to Roxbury Community Center

We are excited to welcome our seniors back to the Roxbury Park Community Center. You’ll find classes, activities, and events to keep you active and moving – as well as outlets to explore your creative, artistic, or entertainment interests. Kids Zone is Back! 

The Farmers' Market Kids Zone is back! Kids Zone provides Arts & Crafts to children ages 5 - 13 every 3rd Sunday of the month, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

The Farmers' Market is open every Sunday from 9am to 1pm (Early shopping hour from 8am - 9am for seniors and those with health concerns continues until further notice). Safety protocols are in place. The Friends of the Beverly Hills Public Library is looking for community volunteers to help man our iconic bookstore in the library. Library Story Time
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 10:30am - October 5 - 28.

Children’s Librarians will present 20-30 minute long programs especially for 2-6 year olds, with younger and older siblings always welcome, too! Shade will be provided, but soft seating will not, so BYOB (Bring Your Own Blankets).

No registration necessary, but show up a few minutes early to get a good spot!
