Greetings!

Well! September is here! Crazy to think that summer is coming to an end, but I’m pumped to  go outside and not feel like I’m on fire because of the heat LOL. So much has happened since my last update, I’m happy  to report that  I am now officially a LAND OWNER! I picked up a little slice of heaven north of Sault Ste. Marie in an area called Havilland Shores on Lake Superior. I’m both excited and in disbelief that I own and am responsible for land. My vision for the space is a big studio in a garage type building and then a  tiny(ish) home to fill with my  products / artwork, and when  I’m not there, airbnb it out! Folks will enjoy interior  design of the space, the artwork on  the walls and beautiful view of  the lake! If  they end up loving whatever  product of mine they’re using or the art,  they  can  buy it  when they leave and it’ll ship to wherever their home is :).  However before all of that can happen… a hydro line, septic and well are  all things that I know nothing about, but need to be put in place! That being said, I’m excited to learn about the building process and I doubt this will be my last property I develop!

As my 34th birthday is just a couple more wake-ups away, I’m noticing such a strong feeling of contentment, and that everything gonna be okay. Coal has brought SO MUCH love and joy into my life, my small staff at the company has alleviated so much stress and worry, and I think when you  start to become more  healthy, you attract healthier things, ideas, and people into your life. I couldn’t be where I’m at today without the great friends I’ve made along the way, and I definitely couldn’t have kept going with this business as long as I have made it so far without all of you, and your love and support for my work. It’s been such a wild and fun and fulfilling life that I couldn’t have imagined for myself a decade ago when I was first getting started.

That being said, I want to impart this little morsel of advice if you’re open to receiving it. Get started, don’t wait, be the person you’ve always needed when things got tough, and try not to think your dreams are impossible, because nothing is.

I love you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Cheers to more adventures!

XO,

Patrick & Coal!

What We've Been Up To
It's that time of year again. Everyone wants one of the coveted Orange t-shirts. Now they are easier to find than ever, Just go to your local Giant Tiger,

Patrick teamed up with Indspire x Giant Tiger to bring you the newest Every Child Matters t-shirts. They are available in all sizes for the whole family for only $12. All proceeds will go to the Indspire, an amazing organization that supports Indigenous youth education.
Speaking of education. Patrick joined several of his fellow alumni and went back to Sault Ste Marie College to discuss careers in design with current students.

He not only inspired and encouraged the students, he also spent time catching up with the other panelists and finding out what they've been up to.

The present and the future are definitely bright.

His old college wasn't the only institution of higher learning that Patrick visited. He spent a week painting this long overdue mural for University of Guelph-Humber.

Should you find yourself on campus, make sure to check it out and tag patrickhunter_art. Also click picture below for video footage of Patrick working on the mural.
It's award season and not everyone wants a gold statue. Patrick created these 2 beautiful hockey sticks for one of APTN's awards.

Two lucky recipients will receive these beauties. Good luck to all the nominees.
