Greetings!
Well! September is here! Crazy to think that summer is coming to an end, but I’m pumped to go outside and not feel like I’m on fire because of the heat LOL. So much has happened since my last update, I’m happy to report that I am now officially a LAND OWNER! I picked up a little slice of heaven north of Sault Ste. Marie in an area called Havilland Shores on Lake Superior. I’m both excited and in disbelief that I own and am responsible for land. My vision for the space is a big studio in a garage type building and then a tiny(ish) home to fill with my products / artwork, and when I’m not there, airbnb it out! Folks will enjoy interior design of the space, the artwork on the walls and beautiful view of the lake! If they end up loving whatever product of mine they’re using or the art, they can buy it when they leave and it’ll ship to wherever their home is :). However before all of that can happen… a hydro line, septic and well are all things that I know nothing about, but need to be put in place! That being said, I’m excited to learn about the building process and I doubt this will be my last property I develop!
As my 34th birthday is just a couple more wake-ups away, I’m noticing such a strong feeling of contentment, and that everything gonna be okay. Coal has brought SO MUCH love and joy into my life, my small staff at the company has alleviated so much stress and worry, and I think when you start to become more healthy, you attract healthier things, ideas, and people into your life. I couldn’t be where I’m at today without the great friends I’ve made along the way, and I definitely couldn’t have kept going with this business as long as I have made it so far without all of you, and your love and support for my work. It’s been such a wild and fun and fulfilling life that I couldn’t have imagined for myself a decade ago when I was first getting started.
That being said, I want to impart this little morsel of advice if you’re open to receiving it. Get started, don’t wait, be the person you’ve always needed when things got tough, and try not to think your dreams are impossible, because nothing is.
I love you! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
Cheers to more adventures!
XO,
Patrick & Coal!
