International Plastic Modelers Society

New Date! Monday, September 12, 7pm to 9pm

Meet with members of the International Plastic Modeler’s Society (IPMS) to talk about building scale models. The club usually meets the first Monday of each month, but in September the meeting is on the second Monday.

The club is well organized and presents new kit and model contest information, how to demonstrations, and member show-and-tells at each meeting. Members enjoy all subjects of scale models with a special interest in military models.

Event fee is $5 per person and includes a $5 credit to be used that evening.

Oni Paint Night - More on the way

Friday, September 30th, 6pm to 9pm

Well that happened fast! We almost sold out our next paint night, then Kyle managed to order more.

Even with the new order, we have room for only a handful of additional painters.

Oni are hulking, demonic ogres that can change shape to become humanoids or giants. They can also turn invisible, blanket their surroundings in magical darkness, and fly!

Bring family and friends to enjoy painting their vision of this shape-shifting monster.

We received some great new models at Fundemonium. Detailed 1/35 scale tanks from Takom and Border Hobby, plus new and restocked versions of popular WW Toons deformed scale tanks from Meng.

Nemesis board game

Nemesis is a semi-cooperative game in which you and your crewmates must survive on a ship infested with hostile organisms!

To win the game, you have to complete one of the two objectives dealt to you at the start of the game and get back to Earth in one piece. You will find many obstacles on your way: swarms of Intruders (the name given to the alien organisms by the ship AI), the poor physical condition of the ship, agendas held by your fellow players, and sometimes just cruel fate.

Cryptid Cafe game

You are a server at the Cryptid Cafe, a Sasquatch-owned restaurant packed with legendary creatures from all over the world. Gather food. Fill orders. Earn the most tips and be crowned, dare we say, the most "legendary" server!

Sounds simple, right? Not so fast, because you’re not the only server working tonight. You'll be competing with other players who are trying to serve their customers as well. Spaces are limited. The orders are piling up. Customers are getting angry! It may be wise to share some of your tips with the chef, so you get the food you need first. If all goes well, at the end of the night you'll be the player crowned the most legendary server!
