Light Up Old Town Hall 2024

Date: Saturday, December 14th, 2024

Time: 3:00pm - 5:00pm

Location: Old Town Hall (61 Main Street)


With activities for children and adults alike, everyone is welcome, no registration required! Find details to participate in our Holiday Cookie/Treat Exchange on our webpage.


Snacks and drinks will be provided. This event will also be an opportunity to bring your donations to the Ottawa East Holiday Food Drive! More information about the Food Drive and our prize raffles below.

Ottawa East Holiday Food Drive

At this time of year, the need to support our neighbours is critical. Consider giving back this holiday season through the Old Ottawa East Holiday Food Drive!

 

From Dec. 1st 2024 to Jan. 3rd, 2025, CAG will be collecting donations (both financial and food) for the Ottawa Food Bank to support those in need of this essential service.

Find the link to our online donation page here. Visit our Food Drive webpage for dates & times when you can drop-off your food donations as well as details for in-person financial donations by Cash or Cheque.


If you donate, you will automatically be entered into either our Early Bird or Final raffle (depending on the time of your donation), with the chance to win some amazing prizes!


The Early Bird Prize is 2 tickets for A Tyler Shaw Christmas at the Algonquin College Commons Theatre on Thursday December 19th, 2024 at 7:00pm! The Early Bird Prize Winner will be announced at our Light Up Old Town Hall event on Dec. 14th.

Winter Break Camp Registration: Open Now!

Join us and have a ball during the holiday break at the Brantwood Park Fieldhouse from Dec. 30th, 2024 to Jan. 3rd, 2025 (not including Wednesday, Jan. 1st, 2025).


We are celebrating 4 days of wintery fun-filled indoor and outdoor adventures, exciting activities, and festive arts and crafts! Spaces are limited, so register today to secure your child's spot.


Required Age: 4 - 12 years old on the day of the activity

Old Ottawa East Community Association (OOECA) December Meeting

The final hybrid monthly meeting of the Old Ottawa East Community Association is happening Dec. 10th, 2024 at 7:00pm.


The meeting will take place both in person at Old Town Hall (61 Main Street) and online via Google Meet. Everyone is welcome to attend!

2024 MAC FAIR

The 2024 MAC FAIR is happening Saturday Dec. 7th from 10:00am - 3:00pm at Immaculata High School (140 Main Street)!


Featuring over 100 local makers of quality, hand-made goods including home decor, jewelry, fashion, eco-friendly body products, paintings, delicious treats and more!

This craft fair helps out students in need within their school community, to ensure that all students get to pursue athletics, clubs, excursions and activities, regardless of their financial situation.


Admission is $3.00, which goes toward extracurricular activities, groups, clubs and social justice initiatives at the school. Your admissions also earns you a free ticket to their raffle with almost 100 fantastic hand-made prizes!

Capital Ward Holiday Party

The Ottawa Christmas Market is officially open at Aberdeen Plaza, Lansdowne!
