Grief: The Elephant in the Room

CCCKL Hospice Services is delighted to welcome the Hospice Peterborough What Now? Podcast team of palliative and bereavement healthcare professionals Julie Brown, Red Keating, and David Kennedy to an evening of information about living life with grief.

Grief is a universal experience that can be hard to talk about and challenging to support. Join us for an evening of exploration and inspiration and learn about topics including:

  • Love is not a disease, neither is grief
  • Living with grief: The new normal
  • What to say and what not to say…

Seating is limited so we ask that you please reserve your space by March 17th, 2025 to cmillington@ccckl.ca or 705-324-7323 ext. 507. This is a free community event.

February Coboconk Diners Club Cancellation

Please be advised that our Diners Club luncheon in Coboconk on Thursday February 27th has been cancelled due to Elections Ontario using our usual room for a polling station.

A Generous Gift from Kawartha Wholesale Bakery

This month at our Adult Day Program, we celebrated Donut Day with our clients, and thanks to the generosity of Jeff Strybosch, owner and baker at Kawartha Wholesale Bakery, we had enough donuts to go around at all three of our program locations!

A huge thank you to Jeff and his team for adding some sweetness to the day and making it extra special for everyone. Unfortunately, we didn’t get any photos of our clients as the donuts disappeared rather quickly!

Make sure to stop by Kawartha Wholesale Bakery in Lindsay to grab a donut (or two) and taste the goodness for yourself!
