Annual Meeting — May 11
Consider joining the CIDNA board
Spring! It's a time to re-engage with friends and neighbors — at CIDNA's annual meeting.

It will be held Wednesday, May 11, from 7 to 8:30pm — on Zoom, for safety's sake. We will offer reports from local elected officials and CIDNA as well as share a preview of the many summer events.

Register here to get the Zoom link. The link and other details will be emailed, on Tuesday, May 10.

Perhaps you're thinking you would like to get more involved with our beautiful Cedar-Isles-Dean neighborhood? Consider contributing your leadership to projects and events by running for a position on the CIDNA board. There are several open positions.

Apply by filling out this Board Nomination Form or by nominating yourself at the meeting on May 11.
Thank you to the more than 100 people who turned out for the Cedar Lake-Lake of the Isles Master Plan Informational session on April 30!

The park board is now preparing a "single preferred park concept" that will be available for public review this summer. Read their update here.
Cedar Lake South Beach Cleanup
Saturday, May 14, 9 - 11am
CIDNA has a history of good stewardship of our environment. Join your neighbors in helping to make our beach beautiful for the coming season!

Park Siding Park Gardening Kick-Off
Wednesday, May 18, 5:30 - 7:30pm
Are you looking for an opportunity to enjoy time outside this summer, and get to know some of your CIDNA neighbors?

Join us at Park Siding Park once a month (or whenever your schedule allows) to help care for the gardens.

Minneapolis Adopt-A-Drain Program
Minneapolis residents and businesses can help keep our waterbodies clean by adopting storm drains in their neighborhood and committing to cleaning them regularly.

When it rains, stormwater carries grass clippings, leaves, cigarette butts, pesticides, fertilizers, antifreeze, paint, gasoline, motor oil, and animal waste directly into Minneapolis lakes, creeks, and the Mississippi River. Minneapolis residents and businesses have the opportunity to adopt storm drains in their neighborhood.
The adoption process is easy and quick, and you will be able to adopt or un-adopt storm drains instantly.
