SUMMER WORSHIP SCHEDULE

Beginning this Sunday, we are moving to a summer worship schedule!
We will have one service each Sunday, at 10am.
This summer schedule will extend through September 3rd.

We hope to see you Sundays at 10am starting on July 2nd!
Thank you to everyone who helped with Family Promise last week!

This week, we heard from the families and from the Family Promise staff that Grace is known in the program for being a genuine, welcoming place with people who are volunteering because they care!

One family began in the program the week before they came to Grace, and they were a bit apprehensive about changing churches. The other family, who has been here before, assured them they had nothing to worry about - that Grace is an excellent host church who treats our guests with warmth, respect, and dignity.

We were also able to upgrade our accommodations for our adult guests! Over the past two host weeks, we had our overnight hosts test a bedframe with an air mattress, to allow our adults a better sleeping arrangement, off the floor. We found a good system and this week, our adult guests had bedframes as well, making things even more homey.

We are making a difference for our neighbors - thank you for supporting this important ministry!
Our Youth served dinner and spent time with our guest families on Friday night. This was a first for all of them, and they had a great time!

If you'd like to try volunteering with Family Promise, we'd love to get you connected. Please talk with Pr. Rachel or any member of the Outreach Committee.
Grace Endowment Fund
100th Anniversary Gifts - Final week!

Thank you to the households who have given to the Fund so far - your gifts are part of the ongoing legacy of Grace!

"I support the Endowment Fund because it is making a positive impact in the world, such as the upgrade of a well baby clinic in Tanzania to an urgent care center for infants and babies. The fund also extends to Grace’s ministry through grants to local organizations. These include the Rock Hill Junior Women’s Club, Cub Scout Pack 540, and Novus Way Ministries to name only a few.

I believe so strongly in the Endowment Fund that I have included Grace Lutheran in that my estate plan to provide grants to community organizations in an effort to assist people in need. These gifts will be realized through beneficiary designations and my will." Donna Wylie

This month, our anniversary month, we are invited to join in the legacy of Grace. 100 years ago, the legacy began with those who pooled their resources and built Grace. Now, that legacy carries on in our ministry, and in our Extended Ministry - this is what the Endowment Fund is for. The Fund gives grants to 'above and beyond' ministries of our congregation and community, making more ministry possible.

"I support the Endowment Fund because it has so much potential to support benevolences locally and globally through estate gifts. That’s why I serve on the Endowment Committee and have included the Endowment Fund in my estate plan." - Craig Ketner

This Fund, and the amount of grant money available, grow through gifts from Grace members and friends. This month, please consider taking part in growing this Fund and supporting extended ministry by giving a special gift to the Endowment! You can give this gift through the offering plate, via online giving, or by mail.

"I support the Endowment Fund because it offers the freedom to give aid above and beyond the structured linearity of our church's budget. I also understand and agree with the Endowment's long-term orientation, and how its potential to serve will continue to grow ever larger by our dedication." - Justin Anderson

Thank you for your support of the Grace Endowment Fund and for considering a gift this month!

One of the ways we will be celebrating the rich history of Grace this year is to hear about its impact on the lives of its
