The Digital Wallet is similar to a file cabinet and contains digital files that you have uploaded into your myCHC/Certemy account, and also contains copies of each of your CCH credentialing certificates.
The Digital Wallet is not designed to calculate or keep track of the number of CEUs for each file.
You must create your own process that you can reference when it's time to select which files to upload during annual recertification. The process does not have to be formal or fancy but should include the number of CEUs associated with the file, and how many have already been used. Some users:
- Handwrite on the paper copy how many earned vs how many used, then refer to that each year during recertification.
- Create a document in Word or Excel that lists the name of each file, how many CEUs were earned, and how many have already been used, so that they know if they have any remaining CEUs available.
The review committee cannot view files that are in your Digital Wallet...similar to a regular file cabinet, you are the only one who can view those files unless you pull them out and hand them to someone else. In order for the CPD committee to review the files that you want them to see for your annual recertification, you will need to upload the files into the CEU step during the recertification process so that they get sent to the committee with your attestations and annual recertifying information.
