CABE awarded National Professional Development grant...
CABE was recently notified that we are a recipient of the USDOE National Professional Development grant, Project PROMESA (Promoting Rigorous Outcomes for Multiliteracy and English Learner Student Achievement).

This 5-year grant provides professional learning and family literacy programs for the two Consortium districts, six schools, and parents and families through four intersecting Academies: the Dual Language Teacher Academy, the English Language Development Teacher Academy, the District and Site Leadership Academy, and the Family Literacy and Leadership Academy.

We look forward to collaborating with our consortium districts, Woodland JUSD and Corona-Norco USD, through Project PROMESA.

We had a successful and motivating Fall 2021 Virtual Joint Delegate Assembly (JDA) meeting with 28 CABE chapter leaders, board members, and staff from across California! CABE President Dr. Bárbara Flores gave an inspirational keynote about leadership and advocacy. Additionally, Riverside Chapter #06 and Yolo/Woodland Chapter #76 shared best practices, strategies, and activities for engaging chapter members and local communities.
