More than a month into the new school year and we are pleased to report that engagement is at an all-time high – with more than 500 districtsthat have signed agreements to participate in Texas College Bridge, and nearly 40,000 students actively taking our free courses!
More than 90% of Texas Community Colleges Participate
We’re also excited to share that Texas College Bridge is now accepted by more than 90% of the state’s community colleges as an indicator of college readiness. This is great news for students completing TxCB courses, who can now earn a TSI exemption from 87 Texas colleges and universities where they can advance their postsecondary education.
NEW! Toolkit for Higher Ed Partners
To help you spread the word to districts (and their students) about your institution’s partnership with Texas College Bridge, we’ve developed a toolkit for Higher Ed use. The toolkit includes communication and graphic assets that you can customize for your institution, such as:
MOU announcement content
Logos, banners and email headers
Editable flyers
Messaging and images for text and social media
You can download the new Toolkit for Higher Ed below. You can also find the toolkit along with other resources on ourwebsite.
1:1 Help Sessions available for IHE and ISD partners
We also offer 1:1 Help Sessions to assist our IHE and ISD partners with their questions about the program, as well as the opportunity to host a session for our IHE partners and your locally participating ISDs.
If you’re interested in scheduling a 1:1 to plan for implementation including organizing a session especially for your local ISD partners, just click here!
Reminder: Help us monitor progress
Many of you are already adding a TSI waiver code to your incoming student accounts after completion of the HB 5 College Prep Courses. To help us evaluate the effectiveness of our program, we ask that you please add a specific waiver code for Texas College Bridge students. By differentiating this code, you will be able to report comparative data following the first semester and help us establish an evidence base of program outcomes. Thanks for your help in making Texas College Bridge a success!
