Parenting Moments
presented by Healthier Urban Families at Wayne State University
September 2022
Ready or not it is time to pull out the book bags and lunch boxes.  A new school year is upon us.  Two years ago, we were faced with virtual learning, last year many districts offered hybrid learning and this year, we are back in person!  Where are we in terms of our “new normal”?  The Omicron variant of COVID made itself known this summer and many of us are COVID weary and booster confused. It is important that we stay informed and protected.  Please see the information regarding Covid vaccines including boosters. Also see information regarding possibly the most important component of a successful school year, establishing a family routine. No Parenting Moments is complete without suggestions for family fun.  Embrace these last few weeks of summer and thoroughly enjoy! Beverly Weathington, LMSW
