Changes to the Newsletter

Dear FUUSNites:

We are writing to let you know about changes that are coming to the Chime

newsletter.

Starting in March, the newsletter will be compiled and edited by a consultant, Beth DiPasquale. Beth worked with Rev. Debra for five years, designing and editing the newsletter and other publications at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Reston. She has been a writer, editor, and designer for more than 25 years.

We are going to be experimenting with a new form and process for submissions for the Chime. To have the Chime to you by Thursday morning, we will need to enforce a strict deadline for all submissions by no later than 9:30 am on Tuesday. There will be no exceptions, even for your ministers! Articles received after 9:30 on Tuesday mornings will be considered for the next week.

To make it easier for you to submit articles and for our consultant to edit them, we are asking everyone to submit this form, known as a JotForm. You will need to sign in with your email to access the form. The link is HERE, and it will be at the bottom of every newsletter. Please note that we are asking you to keep your newsletter submissions to under 200 words. If for some reason you find it impossible to access the JotForm, you can always send Rev. Debra an email by Monday evening with your item for consideration.

We view these procedures as a six-month experiment and will be asking for your feedback in late summer. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we adapt to staff changes.

Thank you for all you do for FUUSN.
