The crown jewel of Historic Downtown Bryan is reopening! The Queen Theatre recently received an interior facelift and will hold its grand reopening to the public on Thursday, March 17, with two showings of The Batman. With the new renovations, the Queen now features luxury seats and a full dining menu, and theater-goers will be able to enjoy first-run movies in the heart of Downtown Bryan.
Spring and summer class registration now open
Clear your spring and summer calendars, and make plans to join Bryan Parks & Recreation for fun and educational classes! Registration is now open for athletic leagues, educational classes, swim lessons and summer camp, plus many more!

Filing begins for Single Member District 4

The City of Bryan will hold an election on May 7, 2022 to fill the Single Member District 4 seat on the Bryan City Council.

To run for election to this seat, candidates must file their candidacy with the Bryan City Secretary’s Office by 5 p.m. March 28, 2022. Anyone with questions should call the Bryan City Secretary’s Office at 979.209.5002.

City Council approves animal ordinance updates
The Bryan City Council approved several changes to the city’s animal ordinances at their meeting on March 8, resulting in updated regulations that better support the community’s needs and bring Bryan in line with new state legislation.

The survey below is seeking input on the city's Community Development Block Grant and Home Investment Partnership programs, which focus on vulnerable populations, affordable housing, economic development, health and social services and public facilities. We are Music Friendly!: Last week, the City of Bryan officially became the 31st city in Texas to be designated as a Texas Music Friendly Community. The certification establishes that the City of Bryan is serious about attracting and developing music industry growth. It builds upon the already strong music and arts community in Bryan and complements the city’s designation as a Texas Film Friendly city.
