A 50/50 raffle was held at the Multi-chapter event last week.
Before the winning number was called, Deb Cannon casually declared she would decline the winnings and ask that they be donated to The First Tee.
And she won!!!
We have forwarded the $1,190 from the Multi-Chapter 50/50 raffle to The First Tee of Greater St. Louis. Deb, your generous spirit is an example for all of us.

This particular act is something above and beyond!

We are proud to call you Chapter member, friend, and, of course, awesome golfer!

The Multi-Chapter Event at Osage National
St. Louis Chapter Members
The Multi-Chapter Event was a huge success! This event was held at Osage National Resort at Lake of the Ozarks and hosted by the St Louis Chapter this year, with participants from Omaha, Des Moines, Quad Cities, Kansas City and Little Rock. We had great weather, great golf, reconnected with past friends and made some new friends!

St Louis Committee:
Anita VanHousen - Chair
Debbie Schill - Chapter Communications & Registration
Deb Cannon - Food and Beverages
Kim Machiran - Golf Games

A big Thank You to those that jumped in to help the St Louis Committee with registration and other activities: Marty Gantz, Diana Fuld and Angie Janik.

We had a sizable turnout of 92 participants and 25 teams. Prizes were awarded for the following. The St Louis participants are highlighted:
Congratulations to Deb Cannon from St Louis who won the 50/50 raffle. She graciously gave her portion of the raffle back to the First Tee which received a total of $1,190 from everyone's generous contributions!

The 2022 Multi-Chapter Event will be hosted by Kansas City. We hope everyone considers joining us for this fun event next year!
End of Season Celebration
Weekend Getaway at Crown Point Golf Club
This year marks the return of our annual weekend of golf out of town. This year we are returning to Crown Pointe in Farmington.

We have tee times for both Saturday and Sunday and reservations at the on-course hotel.

Crown Pointe is a 90 minute drive south for most of us. The schedule is:

• Saturday, October 9:
o 11:10 Tee time for 18 holes
o Check into hotel by 6:00
o Dinner at 12 West Bar & Grill (12westbarandgrill.com). Dinner is not included in the package cost.
(Note - You won't have to wrestle with your clubs after playing. You can leave your clubs on the cart overnight - they have secure storage.)

• Sunday, October 10
o Breakfast at the hotel and checkout
o 10:50 tee time for 18 holes

You should be home Sunday in time for dinner.

Price is $212 per person, double occupancy and includes taxes, golf, cart, range balls and lunch both days and room Saturday night. A limited number of single occupancy rooms are available for $266 per person.

You are more than welcome to bring a guest, spouse, significant other, sibling or offspring.

Signing up on Meetup will reserve your place. Around September 10th Michael will forward information for you to make reservations with Crown Pointe.
