If The Railroaders Ain't Got It, You Don't Need It
The Cleburne Railroaders have hit a grand slam this holiday weekend!

Need to warm up before that? On Friday, enjoy a pre-4th of July fireworks display at the ballpark and the first 200 fans get a limited edition poster while you watch our Railroaders beat the Sioux Falls Canaries.

On Sunday, bring your brooms and watch the Canaries get swept. Parents ditch the sitter cause kids 12 and under get in FREE with your ticket purchase, plus specials galore throughout the evening.

Spending the 4th of July with the Raildroaders just may become a tradition. Celebrate with everyone’s favorite ball team at The Depot. Come for the whuppin’ they’re going to put on the Kansas City Monarchs and stay for the fireworks. Every seat is the best seat in the house this weekend! Thank you Railroaders!

Looking for Another Way to Celebrate?
On July 4th, 1776, the Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence.

On July 4th, 2022, we’re going celebrate with a bang and sparkle at Lake Pat Cleburne! You don't want to miss out on this 4th of July Celebration (thank you HEB!). Fireworks will be shot off the dam at dark (free to the public everywhere except at Cleburne Golf Links, which hosts a Chamber of Commerce sponsored event, if you’re interested in viewing there). Tune into 88.3 The Journey for music synced with the fireworks.

Stay Safe, Don't Start a Fire (and avoid a misdemeanor)
The Cleburne Fire Marshal’s office would like to remind our residents and guests that it is illegal to discharge fireworks within the city limits of Cleburne (IFC 5601.1.3). Fireworks are known to start house fires by landing on roofs and in yards. A class C misdemeanor ticket can be issued to anyone found in possession of and/or using fireworks.

For your enjoyment, the annual Cleburne Chamber of Commerce 4th of July celebration will be held at Lake Pat Cleburne, with the fireworks show scheduled to begin at dark. Thank you for your support, and please be safe during the upcoming holiday.
Redistricting of Council Single Member Districts
The City Council will conduct its first drawing workshop for the redistricting of its single member districts Thursday, July 7, 2022, 5:00pm in the City Hall Council Chambers, 10 N. Robinson St. The legal consulting firm will present Council with draft geographical plans (voting districts) to begin the drawing process. Guidelines have been adopted for persons interested in providing comments and/or submitting proposed plans for consideration.

Following the 2020 US Census, the City is required to re-evaluate its single member district boundary lines based on demographic data provided by the Census Bureau. The major elements of the project include an initial assessment report, planning of work/training sessions and public hearings, establishing target deadlines, establishing criteria and guidelines, producing a set of geographical plans, and preparing the Council’s plan for adoption.

We Need Your Help
We have dogs and cats for adoption. And, each day we hope they'll find their forever family.

But, sometimes we need to help a family find their pet. We found this guy at the 1600 block of W. Henderson with no tags or chip to help us locate his family.

If you know who may own this cute fella, please spread the word. We also have a post on our Animal Services Facebook page.

If you have information, please call:
