City library, parks, museums, recreation facilities plan upcoming openings
The City of Cleburne plans to open several facilities to serve the community while keeping participant and staff health at the forefront during the COVID-19 pandemic. As recommended by the CDC, visitors are asked to adhere to social distancing guidelines, practice good hygiene, and wear face coverings when appropriate.

Upcoming openings include the Public Library and Conference Center on May 26, The Booker T. Washington Recreation Center and city museums on the first week of June, and more.
Free drive-thru COVID-19 tests available to city, county residents
The City of Cleburne and Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Cleburne are partnering to bring free drive-thru COVID-19 testing.

The testing is available to Cleburne and Johnson County residents from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Cleburne Senior Center.

Free testing is by appointment only. Appointments can be made by calling 817-645-0964.

Memorial Day schedule
City of Cleburne offices and services will be closed on May 25 in observation of Memorial Day.

Curbside trash and bulk pickup routes will remain on their normal schedule. Golf Links is offering tee times for the holiday.

Meet Tony! This handsome gentleman is a 6-7-year-old Border Collie mix. Tony is polite and well behaved. He would be a great Netflix buddy. He’s may not do well around small, wild children as he is too mature for those shenanigans and enjoys the quiet life. Tony’s adoption fee is waived!
