"Life in the Spirit - Your Invisible Strength"

Tonight, March 10th, at 7:00 PM, Fr. Chuck Reischman will be coming back to visit. He will share on “Life in the Spirit – Your Invisible Strength.”

Fr. Reischman will also join us for worship Sunday morning, March 13th.

Chuck serves as the Senior Rector in a closed nation of 35 million, where he leads seven churches. He and his wife Gina recently planted two new churches and he plans to continue growing disciples for Jesus as he travels in Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, and the USA.

Chuck has pastored at churches of only 8 members to over 800. He has mentored dozens of church leaders in Colorado, Ohio, Illinois, Texas, Brazil, Arabia, Jamaica, the Dominican Republic, and the Middle East. He has taught in more than 20 nations, encouraging people to trust the Lord, step out in faith, and change the world. He is a champion of church growth and effectiveness, and he brings a unique perspective on evangelism, discipleship, and multi-generational growth for local congregations.

For the past 20+ years, he has been effective in helping churches around the world grow in numbers, in stewardship, and in reaching the culture – making disciples who can make disciples.

Chuck and Gina lead JOSHUA FORCE, a non-profit 501©3 ministry. They hope to always be people who live for Christ, teaching only His word, and who model Christ as Savior and Lord wherever they go. Knowing Christ and walking in His love and power are their goals in life.

The Lenten Season
has begun.

As we seek God during Lent, we have Lenten prayer guides available on the table in the Café for anyone who is interested.
As we've been learning and studying what it is like to live a 'Rule of Life.' Fr. Dan and Fr. Andrew have mentioned Justin Earley's book "The Common Rule."

The books are available at bookstores, Kindle, or other platforms, but we are making the book available to anyone interested, along with a copy of 'The Rule of St. Benedict.'
You can get both for only $15 either after the service on Sunday in the Cafe or by contacting the church office.
Alms for the Poor

During Lent, we open our hearts and seek the Lord in prayer and thanksgiving for all He is to us and all that He calls us to be.

During this season, we also remember those who are in need.

Lenten Mite Boxes are available on the table in the Cafe after the service to remind us that we are blessed to be a blessing.
Our church Wi-Fi has been changed, boosted, and updated.
The new Wi-Fi is called “StLukesWifi” and it is available throughout the building.

If you would like to access the new building Wi-Fi,
see Fr. Dan or Jim Fulton for the password.
Come join us and lift the name of Jesus higher than ever
as part of our Easter Sunday choir.

What is "Stage 4"?
Stage 4 is a group of regular people who happen to have cancer or have been closely touched by cancer in their lives.

What does "Stage 4" do?
Stage 4 creates comfort bags which are given to people entering into chemotherapy and cancer treatment. The bags are created by people who have gone through cancer treatment themselves and have a unique prospective on how to make time in treatment a little easier.

Why does "Stage 4" do this?
We are guided by 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, where we are told about the God of all Comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

How much do these bags cost?
The comfort bags are available free of charge for both men and women in cancer treatment.

How can You help with this ministry?
You would be most welcome if you would like to help with putting together comfort bags. Stage 4 meets in the Lower-Level Conference Room at St. Luke's Church on Thursday mornings at 9:30 AM and on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 PM.
